Welcome to St Mary Angler
Southeastern British Columbia possesses a wealth of free stone rivers and beautiful mountain lakes. These fishing venues offer exceptional fly fishing opportunities for cutthroat, rainbow and bull trout. In addition to the exceptional fishing, what sets this region of British Columbia apart from other fisheries in North America is the low angling pressure. For this reason, St.Mary Angler can provide you with exceptional fly fishing experiences on rivers that are both beautiful and uncrowded. For more information please email us or phone us toll free at 1-800-667-2311.
We have been offering guided float trips in southeastern B.C. for over 25 years. We are fully certified and insured and have a number of experienced guides. We also operate the St.Mary Angler Fly Shop in Cranbrook, B.C., so we offer the whole fly fishing adventure package.
Our guided trips are designed to satisfy both the beginer and experienced angler. We offer float trips on four different stretches of the St. Mary River, two runs of the Elk River and four portions of the Upper Columbia River. We also have a number of 'walk and wade' streams we frequent including the Skookumchuck and Bull rivers, as well as a few others. Each winter we host a trip to an exotic saltwater destination such as Christmas Island in the southern Pacific or somewhere in the Caribbean Sea.
If you are looking for a fly fishing trip on one of our Southeastern B.C. rivers we can meet your needs. Each day you will be treated to eight hours of spectacular angling with one of our full time staff of friendly, experienced, professional guides. All our float trips come with our famous 5-course gourmet streamside lunch. If you wish for somewhere much further afield, ask us about our winter hosted trips.
